The comfy beds ensured a restful night, and having a kitchenette allowed me to prepare my own meals. Plus, the balcony offered a lovely view, making it an ideal spot for morning coffee.
it didn’t significantly impact my overall experience.

Had very good stay for one night and the weather was lovely. The staff and the owner were all friendly professional and competent. The location was relatively quiet and easy with lots of restaurants and cafés right at the doorstep...

The terrace apartments were roomy and well appointed, so it was easy to feel comfortable and look after ourselves catering wise and laundry wise while away from home.
Parking for larger cars at the apartments was a little harder, with limited room allowed for parking.

Great Stay Near Umpherston Sinkhole
I was eager to visit the Umpherston Sinkhole, so I chose the Arkana for its proximity. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of facilities offered, particularly the spacious living and dining area, which made my stay comfortable. The complimentary Wi-Fi was also a nice touch, allowing me to stay connected while exploring the beautiful sights of Mount Gambier.
While the experience was largely positive, the TV service was disappointing. I found it difficult to access local channels, and the outdated signage suggesting Foxtel added to the confusion.

I was really impressed with the spacious room and all the thoughtful amenities provided, like the microwave and kettle. The staff was super friendly, and despite being close to a busy road, I still managed a good night’s sleep.
The breakfast offerings could use more variety to enhance the experience.

Liked Mount Gambier, the hotel was lovely and excellent close to Mt Gambier attractions. The venue was set in the central position just off the town centre and supermarket❤
The bathroom was very small.

The spacious room felt like a little cottage and was equipped with a great kitchen, perfect for our needs. The relaxing spa was a highlight after days exploring the nearby landmarks like Umpherston Cave and the Cave Gardens. we found the internet connection spotty and experienced some cleanliness issues. While the pool area appeared inviting for children, we opted to skip it due to a gathering nearby. The staff were friendly, making our stay comfortable. The location was convenient, but quite a walk from the city center.

Just a place to stay one night.... I say it's a motel. You park a car, go to the room and sleep. Nothing more. When you wake up the only you are thinking about is to get out of the hotel.
Early check out - before 10 very cold in a room - you need to sleep in a sweater nobody on reception during night very expensive for such place - we booked night for 137$ it's not far from a road so you hear how cars are going around. Sound isolation is very bad. Bathroom is not looks attractive. It's clean, but you will not be happy to go to shower - cold, temperature of water changing from cold to hot mistically, so you need to roll cranes to regulate it constantly

During my recent stay for a leisure trip, I found the experience at Arkana quite good. The staff was friendly and promptly accommodated our request for a ground-floor room. The hotel and grounds were impeccably maintained, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was clean and spacious, featuring an extra-large bed and a spotless bathroom. The location was great, just a short walk to a family-friendly tavern with fantastic food.
I do recommend this hotel.

it felt like sleeping on a rock! I woke up with a sore back every morning. They really need to invest in better mattresses—rolling out of bed shouldn't be part of the experience!
